Abstract

The study aims to clarify the state of ethno-tourism in Mexico and to outline its regional characteristics. The profile of ethno-tourism is considered as a destination within the framework of cultural tourism. The current state of tourism in Mexico is analyzed. The opportunities for the development of ethno-tourism in Mexico are presented and its regional characteristics are clarified. Some threats related to the development of ethno-tourism in the country have been outlined.
