Abstract

Startup ecosystems play an essential role in increasing competitiveness, fostering innovation, and driving economic growth. This report examines the main characteristics of startup ecosystems, the factors that determine their growth potential, as well as the main challenges to their development. Established approaches from leading ecosystems that can be adapted in different national and regional dimensions are analyzed.
