Abstract

The current research proposal seeks to explore how teacher-expert collaboration

in a secondary school Student Company course affects student engagement, subject content

understanding, and practical knowledge on such topics as money, budgeting, and social security

system among others. The research’s main goal is to increase student engagement during classes

and to dive deeper into how educators and outside working professionals – experts, could work

better together. This task is performed via the use of Action research methodology.
