BULGARIA'S ROLE IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND ECOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATION

Abstract


The report examines the socio-economic and environmental state of the planet, with an emphasis on Bulgaria's role in the global context. The main topic is the transition to a circular model of the economy to reduce resource dependence and waste. The environmental and health benefits of the transition to unleaded gasoline are assessed, as well as Bulgaria's participation in the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement. The EU Green Deal is presented as a key factor for the future transformation of the country's energy and economy.
