ECONOMIC IMPORTANT TOBACCO PESTS THRIPS TABACI LINDEMAN АND MYZUS PERSICAE SULZER

The aim of this paper is to note the economic important pests of tobacco in Bulgaria during recent years and their trends for multiplication and spreading. In recent years, due to a number of factors, the most important economic tobacco pests are tobacco thrips Thrips tabaci and peach aphid Myzus persicae. Importantly for identifying and regulating pests is the implementation of permanent phytosanitary monitoring to determine their presence. Only in this way the pest control will be most effective. Daily reporting of climatе factors and acquaintance with the forecast for a longer period of time should also be involved as a method and approach for pests limiting and/or treating the pests at their most sensitive stage.
