Abstract

Tourism as a mass movement is something we are used to and is accepted as a normal activity of the human being, which generates transfers of millions of people and in the same way produces millions of benefits for the sector. But despite the knowledge that we are supposed to have today, this is still a relatively recent phenomenon and it is very interesting to look for a study of its origin, the beginning of everything. The greatest contribution to the development of mass tourism, as we know it today, is made by Thomas Cook. He stands out as one of the first tour operators and founder of one of the most important travel agencies in the world
