ANALYSIS OF GROUP COHESION IN HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS
Keywords:
group, cohesion, contactAbstract
The article presents the results of a study of group cohesion in health organizations. Two groups are covered - doctors and nurses and other medical staff (129 employees in total), in eight health facilities from seven cities in Bulgaria. The survey data show that the „contact coefficient“ is high, i.e. the number of persons in contact in the group, relative to its total number, is large. Therefore, the „contact frequency“ is also high, which is represented by the data on the degree of contact. The main conclusion is that cohesion is an integral characteristic of the group in which each of the others is reflected.References
