Abstract

On the territory under investigation the bees have visited the lavender flowers from early in the morning until late in the evening during the whole flowering period. Honey bees represent over 97% of the recorded entomological fauna. The intensive visiting by the honey bees in the lavender plants do a protective air zone against other entomological representatives. Perhaps for this reason major foes such as Sophronia humerella the lavender moth and Philaenus spumarius the foaming cicada have not been reported. Phytopathogenic fungi were not observed such as Phoma (Phoma lavandulae), Phomopsis (Phomopsis lavandulae), Septoria (Septoria lavandulae) and Phytophthora (Phytophthora parasitica and Phytophthora hybrid).
