CONTEMPORARY TRENDS ON THE LABOR MARKET IN BULGARIA
Abstract
The development of labor market policy focuses on more active actions to support the restructuring of the workforce and increase its mobility. The predictability of economic developments and the effects on employment is not high and still remains within the short-term events, but not with an extended character. The development of models to predict the needs of the workforce is imperative for closer linking policy on the labor market with periodicity in the dynamics of the economy. The focus is on the flexibility of labor market and opportunities through its increase to strengthen the mobility and adaptability of the workforce to dynamically evolving labor demand.
Key words: labor market, employment, unemployment, demand, workforce
