Abstract

The aim of the article is to present in detail the practical aspects of risk management in healthcare organizations. The quantitative risk assessment model was created using a probability-impact matrix (PIM) with probabilistic modeling of risk factors. Real data from the risk registers of an anonymous multi-profile hospital for active treatment, located in a large Bulgarian regional city in Bulgaria, were used.
