Abstract

The interest of organizations in the training and development of human resources has its deep reasons in some features of the modern economy. The significant funds that companies allocate for staff training are an indisputable indicator of the role of this activity in the development of organizations. Despite the different opinions about the essence of staff training, the majority of authors consider it as a systematic process that takes place at the initiative of the organization and leads to better employment of employees. Considering improving the knowledge, skills and attitudes of employees, training is often used in parallel with the term staff development. This article addresses key issues related to training and human resource development policy, identifying training needs, designing and organizing training programs, and evaluating training effectiveness.
