SOURCES AND MODELS OF FINANCING OF HEALTHCARE – THE WORLD EXPERIENCE

Abstract


The article presents the historical development of healthcare financing systems and a comparative analysis of the world experience in the sources and financing models of the sector. Conclusions have been made on the effectiveness of different health systems and the factors underlying it, with an emphasis on health policy and governance to ensure patients’ safety, security and satisfaction.
