Abstract


Policies for the promotion and financing of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises are becoming particularly relevant in the modern dynamic conditions. Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) make up 99% of companies in the EU. They provide two thirds of private sector jobs and contribute to more than half of the total value added created by EU businesses.
