INTEGRATED PLANT PROTECTION FOR TOMATOES

Teodora Ilieva

Abstract

The research aims to establish the importance of integrated plant protection for controlling enemy populations in tomatoes. The material used includes a review of scientific research on the topic, using analysis and synthesis, comparative analysis, and a logical approach as research methods. The results of the study found that tomatoes have many diseases and enemies. Using integrated plant protection, controlling the number of the main pests on tomatoes, and keeping them below the threshold of economic harm is achieved. The application of integrated plant protection can be carried out in combination with other suitable methods to limit the spread of enemies.
