SOURCES OF FINANCING HOTEL BUSINESS IN BULGARIA

Abstract

Every business needs financing to contribute to its sustainable development and to best combine the sources, according to the specifics of the business organization's activity. This article examines the possible sources for financing the hotel business, namely: through attracted domestic capital and through international sources. The types of financing through leveraged capital are: bank lending; capital raising standard for the hotel industry - shareholder financing, equity financing, non-banking institutions; family office type financing; own financing and financing from local sources; crowdfunding; government subsidies. International financing in tourism is carried out by international organizations of the World Bank group in the form of transfers or credits presented to developing and developed countries for financing and other activities.

The object of research are the listed types of financing, indicating the advantages and opportunities they provide for the development of the hotel business, incl. in Bulgaria. The subject of consideration is entrepreneurship in the hospitality industry. The purpose of the development is to show in a theoretical aspect the sources of financing in the hotel industry, emphasizing their specific features and the opportunities they provide for the sustainable development of tourism and, in particular, the hotel industry.
