NATURAL ENEMIES OF BEES AND CONTROL

Teodora Ilieva

Abstract

Bees can be attacked in different ways at different times in their life cycle by a diverse range of enemies They cause great losses to beekeeping and are a constant threat to apiaries. The fight against them is one of the most important tasks and concerns of every beekeeping farm. For the protection of bees from enemies, precautionary measures are of great importance: regular and correct care for the breeding of bee colonies, creation and maintenance of strong bee colonies, strict observance of the necessary sanitary and hygienic measures of apiaries, regular disinfection of hives and beekeeping equipment, timely detection and taking measures to limit the enemies that have already appeared.
