Abstract

In this study, the author aims to present the aspects of regional agricultural policy in Bulgaria. In this regard, a regional analysis of agriculture is made, in order to characterize the sector at both national and regional levels. Highlights of the policies related to the Rural Development Program are outlined and analysis of strategic documents at the municipal level is proposed, following the example of Pleven municipality for the period 2014 – 2020. The respective conclusions and generalizations are drawn at the end of the study.
