QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL LEADER IN A MODERN ORGANIZATION

Abstract

The topic of the qualities of a successful manager is particularly relevant in the context of the contemporary dynamic and competitive organizational environment. The development of technologies, globalization, changes in work patterns, and increasing expectations towards employees create new challenges for managers. Today, they are not expected merely to organize and control work processes, but also to act as leaders who are able to motivate people, build trust, and encourage team development. Therefore, the study of the qualities of a successful manager is significant from both theoretical and practical perspectives, as it contributes to a better understanding of the factors that determine effective management and the long-term success of organizations.

The aim of the present study is to analyze and highlight the key qualities that a successful manager should possess in a contemporary organization, as well as their role in the implementation of the organization’s mission and strategy.

The subject of the present study is the qualities and competencies of a successful manager, considered as factors contributing to effective management, the development of human potential, and the achievement of sustainable organizational results.

To achieve the stated aim, the following research objectives are defined:

1. To clarify the essence and role of the manager in the contemporary organization.

2. To analyze the main qualities and competencies that characterize a successful manager.

3. To identify the factors that support the development of successful managerial qualities.

4. To analyze the challenges faced by contemporary managers.
