Abstract

Evaluating the effectiveness of health systems is a difficult process that often encounters methodological problems. The efficiency of human, material and financial resources involved in health sectors across Europe is becoming a hot topic for both academics and health policy makers. This article aims to describe the performance of public health systems in Europe.
