MODERN ASPECTS OF EXPENDITURE POLICY OF BULGARIAN MUNICIPALITIES

In the scientific report the nature and the peculiarities of the municipal expenditure policy and the directions in which it is conducted are characterized. Through the use of a system of specific indicators, an empirical study of the effectiveness of budget expenditures of selected municipalities in the last year was carried out. The role of expenditure policies implemented by local authorities in improving the socio-economic development of local communities has been taken into account.
