Abstract

The static magnetic field (SMF) represents an environmentally friendly physical

factor that exerts significant influence on the physiological and morphological processes in plants.

This review article provides a comprehensive overview of recent studies investigating the effects of

SMF on seed germination, growth, metabolism, and development across various plant species,

including cereals, legumes, and vegetables. Key parameters of the magnetic field, such as intensity

and exposure duration, are analyzed, and potential mechanisms underlying its impact on plant

processes are proposed. Furthermore, the potential application of magnetic stimulation in crop

production is discussed as a promising strategy to enhance plant productivity and stress resilience.
