STRUCTURED EXERCISES ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FOR STUDENTS
Keywords:
sustainable development, interactivity, small group.Abstract
With this report, I present a method for teaching in the lecture course "Sustainable
Development" with good results. "Sustainable development" implies education aimed at creating a
responsible understanding of what is happening around us. The globalist approach, which
characterizes the Doctrine, largely complicates its teaching. From its creation by American
President Franklin Roosevelt to the present day, the Doctrine has been supplemented by numerous
agreements, international treaties, and conventions. The enormous, continuously increasing arsenal
of documents on sustainable development creates a sense of dryness in the study material on this
topic, concerning human development in balance with nature. These difficulties in teaching and
learning could be avoided with a creative approach and interactivity. This is the reason for
developing a matrix – structural exercises, each of which includes a main section of the
"Sustainable Development" concept.
