Abstract

This paper outlines the advantages of reengineering as a means of enhancement of the processes at the food industry enterprises. Reengineering is a systematic and disciplined methodology that encourages the need for removing the processes that are not creating value for the customers. The paper aims to show companies how to redefine their processes and not risk losing their way in an ever-fluid marketplace. The results from reengineering are outstanding: better performance, cost minimization, increase in production and most significantly – sustainable management.
