Abstract

Over the last 20 years, it has been clearly demonstrated that the inhalation by the non-smoking of the tobacco smoke can be very dangerous. Passive smoking (synonyms: „involuntary smoking“; „exposure to second hand smoke“; „exposure to tobacco smoke“) is the inhalation of a combination of side smoke on a smoky cigarette and the exhaled smoke of a cigarette smoker. As smaller the room and the more smokers in it, the more dangerous is the environment of passive smoking - 89% of it is due to the side smoke and 11% is the smoke exhaled by the smoker.
