Abstract

The article considers the problem of the impact of the global financial and economic crisis on the development of the transport sector in Bulgaria. Despite the difficulties stemming from the financial crisis, there are some preconditions that favor the successful development of this branch in the country and prove its competitive advantage on the European labor market. The problem is key to a number of industries and the consequences of the crisis are extremely negative on a broad front. That is why we look at the problem first in national terms and then in tourism.
