DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS OF HASKOVO, BULGARIA

Abstract

The article examines basic demographic indicators for the district of Haskovo (Bulgaria) - ethnic composition of the population, number and proportion of the population, percentage of population in the municipalities of the area, ratio of urban and rural population, sex structure of the population, age distribution, density, fertility, mortality, population growth, migration, etc. The main conclusions highlight the key trends and accentuate on the prospects for the population in the district in the future.
