DEVELOPMENT OF DEMOGRAPHIC PROCESSES IN PLOVDIV MUNICIPALITY

Abstract

The article presents an analysis of demographic processes in the municipality of Plovdiv based on the available data from the last four censuses in the Republic of Bulgaria. Conclusions are made on changes and trends in the main demographic indicators in the municipality compared with those at regional and national level, underlining the importance of education in overcoming the current challenges and problems associated with the demographics of the municipality, as well as labor market and social inclusion.
