This paper explores non-material incentives as a key driver of employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity. While financial rewards remain important, long-term motivation is deeply rooted in the individual’s need for recognition, growth, and a sense of belonging. The study analyzes different forms of non-material motivation – from recognition programs and training to corporate culture and flexible work conditions – and their impact on employee retention and performance. It highlights modern human resource management approaches and practical examples that demonstrate the strategic importance of non-material incentives in building effective employer-employee relations.
