IMPORTANCE OF FOOD PRODUCTS FOR DIETARY NUTRITION

Abstract

The article examines nutrition and its impact on human health. In accordance with the requirements of the European directives, the World Health Insurance and the National programs of the Ministry of Agriculture in Bulgaria for the prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases. The main dietary patterns are shown for reducing the risk of nutritional deficiencies, improving the provision of food contributing to a healthy lifestyle. On this basis, the main food products that can be applied in the field of nutrition with a beneficial effect are given. The main protein content in the products of plant and animal origin, their usefulness, significance, combination and digestibility by the human organism is shown.
