MARKET PRESENCE AND SIGNIFICANCE OF THE SHANGHAI STOCK EXCHANGE

Abstract


This article is devoted to the market presence and development of the largest stock exchange in the fastest growing country in the world in recent decades. The research focuses on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE). A comparative analysis of certain indicators of market performance and a descriptive statistical analysis of the system of stock market indices have been made.
